Economic and Tourism Development
A group of committed volunteers are dedicating their effort toward a brighter future for all of Belvidere. They are working in collaboration with town merchants, business leaders, commercial property owners, municipal officials, and residents.

Chartered by town government, this group is missioned to boost the local economy and benefit the community at large. Specific activities include:
- Work to maintain a business friendly climate
- Attract new business investment and promote existing businesses
- Assist and advise potential investors and entrepreuners
- Advocate town infrastructure improvements and beautification
- Facilitate business cooperation with municipal government
- Apply for grant opportunities
- Advertise and promote consumption of local goods and services
- Contribute to an enhanced tax base
