We would like to announce a pilot program, in conjunction with the Belvidere School system, the aim of which is to assist our older, disabled, and handicapped residents with their fall lawn cleanup.

We all know this can be a somewhat physically daunting task. This program will send out teams of student volunteers from the Belvidere School System into the community to get your leaves raked and ready for pick-up in the autumn.

If you think you might qualify and would be interested in participating in this experimental program, we would like to hear from you and have our students visit you with rakes in hand.

The work will take place between the last week in October and the first two weeks in November. It will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
